Driving a diesel doesn't get you out of a smog check in California — and finding a station that actually tests diesels can be half the battle. At MT Star Smog Check, diesel smog checks are a regular part of our day. We're a family-owned, STAR-certified, test-only station, which means smog testing is all we do, and we do it right.

 

We test diesel cars, trucks, and SUVs with a gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) of up to 14,001 lbs. Whether your diesel is your daily driver, your work truck, or the family hauler, we'll get it tested and get you back on the road. Most smog checks at our stations take just 15–20 minutes.
